Henry and I are married for 13 years already. There were up and downs all through out the years. And I was grateful because we get stronger as years passes by. We may have numerous differences, but we always enjoy being together. Henry is more on the sporty side, while obviously...I don't play any regular sport. He loves eating, while i don't. There's one thing that we both enjoyed....action movies!

I started liking this hobby since i was in high school. I volunteer to do my classmate album's whenever i can. And guess what, its for free.......

Sunday is my scrap day! I always make a point of doing 3 to 4 layouts, even how busy i am with my job. There was a time that i brought my scrap materials to the office, and continue the scrappin day....hehehe, hoping that i wont be caught!

one sunday morning, this makulit girl...asked for a candy. Here's our conversation:

Little Girl: Mommy, gusto ko candy ( pointing on the candy jars on the top of the ref)
Mommy: no more candy, wala candy oh! (trying to pretend that i could not see any candy left in the jar, but honestly the jar is full.
Little girl: Ayan oh mommy, anu ka bulag!!!

I can't say a word for 30 seconds. I just could not believe that she actually understood the word "bulag". Silly me, why did i pretend that the jar is empty!

Little Lady of mine

Finally, i made another lay out....My Little Girl turns into a Little Lady....I can't believe she is now two. She grew up so fast, if i could only stop the time, and turned around the time, and just enjoyed the moment with her childhood. But nothing is constant in this world. I am so proud of her.
As of now, she could recite the vowel sounds, count 1 to 10, Identify the different kinds of the body (head to toe) And Normally, i just prepare for her food, and she eats on her own. I always trained my kids to be independent as early as possible.

Shopping is FUN...

I have two major reason going to manila. First, to attend monthly meetings with the executives. Second, Shopping! Shoppin' shoppin. I just could not allow myself not going to the mall. Imagine, I am 6 hours drive away from manila. Anyways, To my surprise, i bought 2 sandals from via venetto, and 4 pcs. office attire from Tyler, and 4 pcs from Ilaya couture, isn't that O.S (Over Shopping), i guess not. This is my normal shopping habit monthly. I do not buy just to get over with my anxiety. i shopped because i like it. it makes me happy, it feels so WOW. And i feel rejuvenated. After a long hard meeting, pressure, stress! I guess..my therapy is to shop! Otherwise, I will breakdown. During my last day in manila, I keep on convincing myself not to shop for scrap materials, coz' i haven't touched my recent materials. But I think, i failed. I went to Lasting Impression, and enjoyed my day there....nyahahahaha. See my new goodies.....

Looking back, I never thought that i would really enjoy doing mini album. At first glance, i find it "bitin", space is not enough to accommodate my pictures. But when leira sold me her gypsies mini album for 30 pesos, wow! so cheap. I did not have a second thought of giving it a try....
My album is not complete yet, but it's soon to be done. I'm giving myself a deadline to finish this up. To start with, I started my career with prulife by mid-nov 2006. With this, I discovered new friends, new work culture, and the meaning of true leadership. Imagine, my normal weight is 100lbs. But when I joined prulife, it goes down to 90lbs, whew! It may be a good news to some of you. But for me, it is NOT. That would only mean, how stressful my job is! That is why, i never stop looking for a hobby that would give me temporary relief! I had tried everything (badminton,swimming, wall-climbing, name it!) But scrappin gave me the freedom to be more creative, or just being ME. I think that i enjoyed most, being myself, no pretensions at all.

Since this is the trend now, showing everything you bought, i don't think i can do this often. I have a very limited time, but i always find time going to the mall...hahahahaha. During the scrapfest 5, what i enjoyed most is the shopping galore. Shopping the whole day for scrappin materials was really fun and exciting experienced. I am so distracted with the shoppin goods that i did not even wanted to find a place to take a break for a while.

I could not share anything about scrappin, because i am still new in exploring ideas and designs. Thanks to Cookie who introduced me to advanced ways of scrapping, or should i say, who influences me to buy this and that...hahahahaha. Let me first show you the stuff i bought from the scrapfest 5 alone. Take note, my purpose of joining the club is to learn more, express my ideas, and to be more creative. But what the heck! when i saw the venue, i panicked.........nyaaaaaaaaah! Instead of listening to the demo's and join the activities...i was busy roaming around looking for the best buys. Whew! I could not resist...i could not imagine myself going home, not having those stuff in my car trunk. Of course, why would i let the chances pass! No way!!! :)
